SCU (Sequence Control Unit)
The SCU (Sequence Control Unit) is Alcatraz's advanced mechanically programmed key exchange unit, designed specifically for complex, non-linear process procedures.
Whereas the standard linear process key exchanges require each step to follow suit in a fixed order.
The Alcatraz SCU can accommodate repeat, nonlinear, reverse operation steps, repetition valve lineups within a complex nonlinear sequence. It supports, guides and removes oversights when reading large HAZOP process procedures, where a complex written procedure can be misread, cause confusion, not followed or Human error kicks in.
