Coverage of the Exponor Chile 2017 exhibition
The exhibition was opened with multiple VIP’s and all the top Chilean government officials like Mr. J.Bunster, the Minister of Energy, Mr. H. de Solminihac Tampier, the Minister of Mining, and many ambassadors from around the world.
I felt privileged having a VIP invitation from the Managing Director of Ingimex: Ms. Patricia Cuevas. A nice extra of our seats was that we were sitting on the third row, just behind the Ambassador from Finland. Ofcourse I couldn't resist taking a selfie of us two among all those officials.
All foreign visitors like myself had head phones on. So we could "on the fly" to the English translations of all the live speeches on stage. I found the speeches very intriguing and interesting.
Some of the products that are being produced from the developing area of Antofagasta are: power, steam generation, chemicals, explosives, ammonium nitrate, and sulfuric acid. Investing in this productive area and supporting the mining industry. The area contains 30% of the worlds copper reserves.
Face to face meetings
Ingimex had a stand at the Exponor exhibition where not only their complete portfolio was presented. They also had four representatives, in the form of international manufacturing companies. These companies were present during the week to give full support to Ingimex and meet with the clients that visited the stand (more than 108 registered visits). These partners on the stand were Alcatraz Interlocks, Zook, Igema & Mankenberg. We were all proud to be part of a very well organized week by Ms. Patricia Cuevas.
If that was not enough, Patricia had set up and arranged four business-to-business meetings (face to face). The goal was to meet with project managers of various chemical plants. These "dates" developed into us visiting their plant that week, to give our presentations of our products.
A big thank you
This was ofcourse an opportunity we all could not miss. The clients continue investing their time and money looking for new technology that will increase safety on their plants by working with Ingimex, the local Chilean distributor of our products.
I would like to thank the whole Ingimex team for supporting us all week. With special thanks to all the new clients we met, reserving time in their busy schedules. I would also like to thank Zook and Igema and a special thank you to Patricia for working so hard to promote all of the safety products we manufacture. Innovating the Industrial business.
