An American adventure: the Valve World Americas Expo & Conference 2015
Normally my blogs are about travelling the world and visiting clients, preventing hazardous situations under any condition by using our valve interlocks. In this occasion I want to focus on our customers and the value that they add to our organization.
In particular the clients we met at our stand in Houston, Texas during the Valve World Americas Expo & Conference 2015. Call it a tribute to all our visitors, showing interest in the safety solutions we can provide.
As this was Alcatraz’ first trip to America to introduce our valve interlocks and trapped key interlock solutions. We where surprised with the knowledge already presented to us by our stand visitors. The piperack to show and demonstrate the changeover philosophy on a Pressure Relief System (Inlet & Outlet Block valves are interlocked on these) turned out to be extremelly handy. This key-part of our stand was especially designed by our engineering department. The fact that we could show all sorts of mode of operation: handwheel (gate), lever (ball) & gear (ball) was a big plus.
Eye-catcher Bernard Controls
That said we must admit that the biggest eye-cather on our stand was our locked actuator. In this particular case from one of our business partners: Bernard Controls. This alone drew a crowd that showed a genuine interest in both actuators, the way they lock out and how they function in sequence.
See you again soon
We would like to thank all visitors that took the time to visit our stand at Valve World Americas Expo & Conference. Overall, our first business trip to America was a big success. And it was extra special because we also celebrated our 25th anniversary, 25 years of interlocking experience.
We are looking forward to continue expanding our distributors within this great continent, both North- and South-America, and all in between. See you soon America!
